At Prestwich Remembers, we are committed to improving the lives of military veterans in our community. Through a variety of programs and activities, we provide opportunities for veterans to connect, build friendships, and enhance their wellbeing.
We also dedicate our time and resources to commemorating significant events in the calendar, ensuring that the service and sacrifice of our armed forces are never forgotten. Key occasions we mark include Remembrance Day and Armed Forces Day, where we bring the community together in reflection and celebration.
By fostering connection and remembrance, Prestwich Remembers aims to create a supportive environment where veterans feel valued, understood, and part of a community that honours their contributions.

We are proud to be committed to delivering a Parade and Service each Remembrance Sunday for our community.
Previously organised by the Royal British Legion, Prestwich Remembers has taken up the responsibility to ensure this important tradition continues with dignity and respect.
Our aim is simple but vital: to honour the service and sacrifice of our heroes—past and present—and to ensure they are never forgotten.
We welcome all members of the community to join us in remembrance.
Prestwich Remembers offers opportunities for our local veteran community to get involved in a range of organised activities.
These include fundraising events, wellbeing walks, and social gatherings, all designed to bring people together in a supportive and welcoming environment.
